Less pressure is used, though the same techniques are used. One or more of the techniques below
• Deep Tissue – slow deep strokes applied to the muscles allowing them to relax, lengthen and release tension
• Trigger point – direct sustained pressure to release muscle knots, that may be causing local or referred pain
• PNF stretching – gentle assisted stretching targeting specific muscle groups that may be tight
• Positional release – gentle trigger point therapy, putting the muscle in to a relaxed position and working with it to remove the trigger point
• Myofascial Release - gentle massage that works with the bodies fascia to relax and relieve tension
• Manual Lymph Drainage – working with the bodies lymph system to reduce swelling for pre and post-surgery, injuries & pregnancy
